The Hybrid Hotel is looking for a Security Supervisor to join our team. The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing the day to day security operation and ensuring the safety and security of all guests, residents, employees and property. The role includes risk, loss management of the property, as well as taking a lead in Work place safety and life/fire safety systems, preventing situations that could jeopardize the safety and operation of the hotel.
Supervise the shift safety & security operations, ensuring adequate patrol patterns and frequencies are maintained to ensure the safety and security of guests and associates
Responsible for checking all fire, life safety equipment are within the expiry limits (such as hand held chemical extinguishers etc).
Ensure prompt reporting of maintenance issues by safety & security officers as they record them during their patrols.
Conduct random bag inspections of associates entering and leaving the building. Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent hotel assets being removed from the hotel without the proper authority.
Maintain perimeter patrols at points of entry and egress to ensure that all people within the hotel environs have a genuine purpose and are not loitering or are present for other reasons.
Regularly attend to the common area where guests present and make guests feel delighted and secured. For examples, greeting guests at the club lounge, holding doors at the entrance, assisting with deliveries when necessary
Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints. Communicate with guests in a manner, which promotes goodwill, trust and satisfaction.
Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers

HOUSE KEEPING ATTENDANT

The Hybrid Hotel is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The House Attendant cleans public areas of the resort, stocks linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens and picks-up and delivers guest items.
The Housekeeping Attendant supports the Room Attendants by ensuring guest room supplies are well stocked, trash and debris are removed as well as other cleaning duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Good communication skills are required.
Individuals need to be able to clean all areas of the resort to The Hybrid Hotel standards. This position requires the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
The Hybrid Hotel is looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food and are passionate to develop their management skills within the hotel industry, have creativity and flair and the ability to provide guidance to others, and are able to evidence good business acumen and a strong work ethic.
Applicants are required to have two to six years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in fine dining.
Supervisory and management experience is required and culinary qualifications are essential.
Previous Resort experience is a plus.

The Bartender serves both hotel and local guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.
1. Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Hybrid Hotel Standards.
2. Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
3. Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
4. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
5. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
7. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

The Pastry Cook is responsible for the daily production of required items following the standards set by the Executive Pastry Chef. Shifts will vary and include mornings, evenings and weekends. Assist in prep work of all pastry items required for daily duties and oversee scheduled shifts and all associated responsibilities. Supervise more junior employees, maintaining quality and timeliness of work station.
Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following standard recipes, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for lunch, and/or dinner service. Must have sound bread and laminated dough experience: chocolate tempering knowledge; all scratch mixes, and strong organization / leadership skills.
